POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Manager position is a key component of the Routeware Operations team. This role is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time and within scope. In overseeing all aspects of projects, this candidate will set deadlines and assign responsibilities to others while monitoring the progress of each project. They will keep upper management aware of developments by preparing reports regarding the status of each project and act as liaison between our Operations, Support, Sales, and Engineering departments. At Routeware, the Project Manager plays a vital part in ensuring that what we deliver matches customer expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Post-sales product implementation/installation planning and execution
  • Schedule and manage, across multiple departments, internal and external project meetings
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Produce and provide periodic project KPI's to manager
  • Development/Participation in various other customer initiatives as they present themselves
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
