This position is for our York office in the UK We are currently applying a work from home when possible policy, however the applicant must be able to commute to the York office and customer meetings when required in the future.


We are currently looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our UK project management team, The person will play a key role in supporting internal and external customers during the life cycle of each project. Applicants must be confident in supporting customers and be able to assist others in achieving their goals. They must also be capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers.

Our target markets are local authorities and private environmental service companies, we have a large number of IT related projects currently in progress. The successful candidate will be using a variety of tools for Project Management, customer presentations, data analysis and issue recording which will be used for weekly reviews, reporting and meetings with customers They must also be prepared to work flexibly taking on additional responsibilities in line with the team’s goals. The ideal candidate will be highly organised have a flexible approach, with the ability and willingness to provide input and have a high level of attention to detail with excellent communication skills. This role will report to the Business Unit manager the candidate will work with other project managers in our organisation.


  • Communicating with clients across multiple channels (Telephone, Email, Internet meetings)
  • Documenting meetings, activities and issues on our current systems.
  • Project managing target dates, coordinating between departments where required.
  • Managing handover procedures from development and engineering to customers.
  • Assist in maintaining the software documentation, to keep it up to date.
  • Preparing regular reports (including individual project performance & project planning)
  • Researching issues raised to supply robust detail to other departments where required.
  • Gaining technical knowledge on the operation of our software to be effective in meetings.
  • Project management of full mobilisations or individual project stages.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Previous experience working in a customer facing role, either a consultancy environment or delivering services to customers and stakeholders.
  • Previous project experience as a Project Manager, Administrator or Coordinator and knowledge of project governance.
  • Proficient with web presentation tools, word processors, worksheets, web meeting tools.
  • Ability to be the interface between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
