POSITION OVERVIEW

Routeware is looking for a QA specialist who will take a key role on our team. Our QA specialist will work under our QA manager to monitor software quality and the technical risks associated with the software development lifecycle. Along with these responsibilities, you’ll need to analyze technical risk for new software products, document functional tests, perform complex testing assignments, and investigate operational problems with other technical team members for multiple products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and maintaining test plans for various applications.
  • Performing hardware testing on multiple computer and perpetual devices
  • Performing software testing for various applications and services on Windows, Android and IOS operating systems
  • Replicate and document tickets development for UI, data, feature and workflow issues
  • Work with customer support and IT to reproduce customer issues
  • Work with product on requirements for new features
  • Work with engineering on various projects
  • Project management skills
  • Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators for QA team with regards to reopened tickets and bug submissions.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with SQL, Windows or Azure platform
  • Experience with Jira or Confluence
  • Software troubleshooting or support experience
  • An understanding of the software development life cycle and how testing applies
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Solution-oriented and a problem-solver
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience with Jira or Confluence
  • Experience in software testing
  • Quality assurance experience
  • Bachelor degree in relevant field
